By using The Catch app or website (thecatch.com.au), you agree to these terms. The Catch is operated by Seven Shillings Group Pty Ltd (ABN 92 660 607 456) ("we", "us", "our").

The platform

The Catch is a fishing companion app for logging trips and catches, viewing weather, tide and map information, and sharing what you choose with your crew and community. Some features require an account; the app is free to download and use.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account and data at any time from within the app — see our account deletion page for details.

Your content

The trips, catches, photos and other content you log belong to you. By posting content to shared surfaces (such as the community feed or a share link), you give us permission to display that content to the people you have chosen to share it with. How your data is protected and what you can share is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform: no posting content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights; no attempting to access other users' private data; no interfering with the operation of the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

Not a navigation or safety device

Weather, tide, map and zone information in The Catch is provided to help you plan, but it is not a substitute for official sources, marine charts, or your own judgement on the water. Always refer to official government sources for current fishing regulations, possession limits and closures, and to official forecasts and navigation charts for safety-critical decisions.

Accuracy of information

We present forecast and reference information in good faith from reputable public sources, but we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and branding on The Catch is owned by Seven Shillings Group Pty Ltd unless otherwise attributed. You may share links to our pages and quote our content with attribution.

Limitation of liability

The Catch is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from decisions made based on information presented in the app or on this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
